In addition to a walking tour of campus grounds, a big part of the campus tour involves getting to better know our admissions teams and teachers. You can meet our admissions team members on the same day as your campus tour. It is the perfect opportunity to ask specific questions about our curriculums and admissions process.
Once you submit the application for your child, our admissions counselors will contact you to schedule a time for your child to take an assessment. This assessment is designed to evaluate the students academic skill and will help our counselors recommend the curriculum and academic plan that is right for your child.

We are open for any number of attendees, however for personalized sessions it's recommended that parents or guardians accompany the student during the visit.
Our in-person walking tour normally takes 45-60 minutes, not including admissions events and counseling meetings. Therefore, make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please be sure to wear face masks or shields. If you fail to wear face masks, you will not be allowed on the campus tour.
We ask that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour. This would give our faculty members enough time to check your temperatures, register your information, and explain protocols. This will also give you the opportunity to get to know your tour guides before the tour starts.
During the check-in process, our staff will check your temperatures, ask you to fill out a health declaration form, and register your information. During the tours, you will be asked to walk 6 ft apart at all times. Each tour group will be given audio sets to ensure you can hear our tour guides throughout the campus tour.
Our admissions counselors are available virtually and in-person during official school hours. Please submit this form to meet with our admissions counselors virtually.
International students are not required to take english placement exams. However, we do require all incoming students (international and local) to take an assessment prior to registration to evaluate their skill level.

Our admissions and classroom teachers are always there to help to make the transition easier for international students. We also have collaborative learning spaces outside the classroom where students and teachers gather for chitchats and informal discussions. Moreover, there are plenty of clubs and sports activities to allow international students to make friends and get involved on campus.
While our admissions team is happy to provide any required documents for your application, GIIS Kuala Lumpur does not offer visa services. We encourage you to consult an immigrations officer for all your visa related questions.
Our admissions process is open all year, so there is no strict application deadline. However, we encourage you to apply as early as possible due to the limited number of seats available.
Fees are paid per term. The due date for each term fee will be listed on the invoice. You can view the invoice on the MyGIIS Parental Portal.
Registration fees are one-time, non-refundable fees that need to be paid at the time of application submission to secure a seat, therefore they cannot be waived.

If term fees are not paid by the due date, you will be charged for a late payment fee.
